We are a small group of queer-feminist activists for women* empowerment and the fight against patriarchy and capitalism. Right now we start to build up a group and discuss our aims and working structures.
The idea of this media collective is to support
- feminist media activists and movie makers in organizing screenings, spreading the movies and producing subtitles in different languages
- women* who are – for whatever reasons – not able to earn any money
- self-determined knowledge transfer between feminist media activists
- collective working structures by organizing barcamps and women*-only gatherings.
We are searching for women* who would like to
- share their feminist (movie) works
- to participate in our structure
- earn some money by translating movie scripts and organizing film screenings and barcamps.
To work independently and in good quality we need
- money
- cutting- and screening-equipment like laptops, cutting software and beamer.
